This is so true, and it's not just the EU. Bank bail-ins are now completely legal in the United States. I doubt that one American in a hundred realizes that.
I do still keep just enough in the bank to pay bills, but other than that my money's in silver, cryptos, and a bit of cash. Trying to be as ready for the inevitable as possible.
