you won't believe this but I attended a workshop where you learn to run your energy and open the pineal gland.. a man in the audience in a previous workshop had his hearing restored... here is his story:

That is SO wonderful Rebecca. I'm not 'hearing impaired' but really aware of the effects that noise pollution all around us must be having on cityites.
