GRANTCOIN FINALLY RE-BRANDED AS MANNA

in #life6 years ago (edited)

It’s finally happening! – Grantcoin is being rebranded as Manna.

SouthXchange will change their GRT/BTC and GRT/USD markets to MANNA/BTC and MANNA/USD.

The blockchain should be viewable with new Manna-branded CryptoID block explorer.

Manna Wallets

In conjunction with the rebranding of the currency on these third-party services, Manna is releasing a beta version of new Manna wallets. Windows and Linux QT desktop wallets are now available to download for beta testing. The team is still debugging the Mac wallet but we expect to release it soon. Click here for wallet downloads and known issues.

If you would like to participate in testing and bug fixes, please contact Manna CTO, Doug Shubert: [email protected]. Manna are especially looking for volunteers with experience in compiling apps for the Mac, and working with Berkeley DB.

You can still use the existing Grantcoin version 0.7.0 wallets until block 1,100,000 of the blockchain (expected in May 2018), after which they will no longer be compatible with the Manna network. Until then, you can send coins back and forth between Grantcoin and Manna wallets. Private keys can also be imported from one to the other.

Mannabase Progress Report

Manna is currently in the testing and debugging phase, getting ready to roll out Phase 2 of the launch of the Mannabase platform. The development team has been hard at work, but they are running about 2 to 3 weeks behind schedule, compared to our previous estimates of when things would be ready for the public. Manna apologize for the delay, and promise us they are getting close to being able to release much more.

Stay tuned for announcements and rollout of two more phases of mannabase.com soon, including (1) user registration, basic income signup and verification, and (2) web-based wallets and automated basic income distribution.

Manna is moving forward and getting close to launch. They thank you for your patience and support!

Hello, @robpyne - once again, bringing us the good stuff. The name says so much manna. i will certainly be watching this one for that day I am ready to make my second investment. For the moment, it is just my mind and steem here. Small beginnngs, hopefully, great endings.

Hey @oneazania are we going up-vote for up-vote as well. If so I will put you in my bot so you get one even if I miss your post (in which case it will be my loss). Please let me know.
PS Love your work.

Hi, Rob. I have you in both of my accounts on steemconnect. i noticed you giveme all the rewards by voting 20 minutes after publication. Please adjust that so that you get some of the takings. I love you work too!!! By the way, as a former parliamentary member, if and when you happen to read my latest post (from this persona) please know that I do not count YOU in with that lot about which I wrote. I would appreciate your take on the poem I penned. there.

Once again - best regards and keep up the fight that is worth fighting!

I don't really know how that works, I will do some research.

oh - as far as my knowledge goes, the first 30 minutes after you post something, curators who upvote you will not see a return on their upvote. the golden point is after 30 minutes. So you should wait until a post is 30 minutes old, then upvote. Of course, if you are self-voting, then upvoting immediately is best.

also, the sooner you vote, the more you take the curation reward. so the idea is to discover good content early, but read it for 30 minutes then upvote ;-)

Let me know if your rearch reveals a nuance that I am missing. I have heard that this will change or may change some time in the future. Perhaps with a 'hardfork'.
