I love playing these old games. The Zelda game you have for your SNES is a classic. It's among the best of the Zelda series.
It's cheaper to just get an emulator but nothing really beats playing the game using the classic controller though.
Also, you're right about the game difficulty. Older games are much harder. I think I tried playing my old NES games a few weeks ago. They are infinitely harder compared to modern games.
There is no comparison between new and old games when it games to difficulty!
