Does the use of technology bring us closer or away?

 !! Hello friends of Steemit!

The use of technology in some cases affects our daily life, how does technology really work in us?

Smartphones gave a new life to the way we communicate, messaging, email and social networks, all in one place and within reach. Paradoxically, what should approach us seems to be moving away more and more, since the abuse of these tools is taking the human being to a virtual relational world and away from the real one.

That new communication tools are useful? nobody discusses it. Well used they are excellent positive because they help us get closer. For example, a videoconference can bring people in different parts of the world and give them the option to face each other, social networks are valid ways to find people that we have not seen for a long time and get back in touch.  When technology isolates  The dilemma here lies in the misuse and abuse of these tools, especially among children, adolescents and young people. Many of them spend hours in front of the computer monitor waiting for answers from their friends on social networks.

They also spend hours without looking at someone they have in front of them because the cell phone has them trapped sending and receiving messages permanently, just go out and find this scene all the time and not only among the youngest but also among the adults.

The misuse of these devices, to move away from close and warm relationships sooner or later makes us feel out of center, wrong with ourselves and the world around us, and for some people can lead to a depressive state.
Put it to good use
Proper use of new technologies is the best way to avoid losing human contact.

For example,
I can send and receive messages but in that round trip what I am doing is making an appointment to meet with the person or persons with whom I will be speaking later.
Another way is to arrange a video conference with a friend or family member who lives far away and that way we see each other's faces, we talk to each other and we feel closer.
The electronic mail has a preferential sector in these cases because when we receive them in the mobile phone, the best we have is that we can give a quick response.
Social networks can help us put together projects and programs of outings with friends and find people that we have not seen for a long time and that can give us thousands of good uses.
Another important issue has to do with the time we spend on our computer and our mobile phone (outside working hours). In this case, it is best to dedicate no more than a couple of hours each day to have time for ourselves and to give others what I call our real time.
Is it not the same to waste time between messages than to meet at a point and give that time talking? Looking at each other's faces and being able to establish real contact with the other makes us grow, nourishes and enriches us, that's why the proposal is less "whatsapp" and more meetings, so that we give our wealth to others and receive theirs from them .
