You should look into lucid dreaming. This scenario would be possible minus both parties "sharing" the experience. Instead it would be a dream designed by you and only experienced by you.
A lucid dream is a dream during which the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming. During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to have some control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment. - Wiki
I practiced lucid dreaming myself a few years ago and was successful on two different occasions. The hardest part is staying asleep once you realize that you are in fact dreaming in your dream. If you are successful at staying asleep you then have full control over the dream with the ability to literally do whatever you want.
I have read a lot about lucid dreaming and it seems very interesting. It would be awesome to know you are in a dream and do whatever you can!
