AFTER AYO GRADUATED

Out of the Uni Hell; Fresh out of NYSC cell, now reality should start living the dream
Picture painted perfect, imperfect painted picture, only to realize the reality is a dream
Ayo thought He was going to become everything after school
But this is the wisdom of a pathetic fool
Two weeks passed after national service, still hunting for a white collar job
He has submitted His credentials virtually on every white collar hub
This is Hell! Like every other graduates, Ayo thinks of getting self-employed
Sufficiency is insufficient, so, being self-employed is still being unemployed
Going back to school for Masters degree is the best substitute for this truma
But financial paralysis is just another truma
So, He kept submitting job application
The definition of repetition; an action of alliteration
This is so because Ayo knows nobody
In a country where good jobs are only obtained when You know somebody that know somebody
Every job that came Ayo's way can't even pay bills
Too meager to called meager; even the jobs hardly make meals
To avoid staying at home, eventually, Ayo picked up one of Them
Unfortunately, His place of work sounds like a sophisticated firm
But little did the society know that He isn't getting well paid
What a bitch of a job!

This bitch is just getting Him laid
Friends and family tried to come close in other to enjoy from the good life
But how can You tell the world the woman You married yesterday is not a good wife?
Somewhat somehow; Ayo is somehow stingy
He doesn't want to spend His prosperity with Us now that His life is kinky
Only if They understand that His life is still stinky
It's a painful situation and it's somewhat hard to realize the stinging
Months later, Ayo could no longer take the pain
He thought of getting off the chain
He thought of resigning, maybe resignation may wash away the pain
But falling out without having something to fall back on is the beginning of a new pain
Ayo made up his mind and took the pain
He dropped the job and picked up a wane
Evil is next on the track, so, He had to join the train
It used to be a sucking pain now, He's just a sucker for pain
Give what You have to get what it takes, prosperity must make a name
Break fast and launch the dinner, just make sure there's a mill in the line

Ayo ventured into cyber crime
He started to fake fakery on His timeline
This is not Ayo's fault, He had to make life rhyme on the lifeline
It is crazy!
When You don't provide jobs and You call the jobless lazy
It is brazen!
When the truth is erased and lies are graven
The Fault, dear Brutus sometimes lies in the stars
That isn't Our business! Arrest those G-boys and feed Them to SARS
SARS got interested and recently, Ayo got arrested
Charged to court, He pled guilty but mercy persisted
Sentenced to 7 years imprisonment
Wow is woe and sympathy became a complement
The gods are not blame for a man's detriment
But the gods should be blamed for not providing Him a supplement
This could be any Ayo after graduation
If care is not taken, the care may take to destruction

Every Ayo keeps graduating yearly
But there's no assurance for prosperity truly
If the cycle of life after graduation keeps circulating this way
Then the future of tomorrow may end in disarray...
