No doubt you do not want your presentation to be dull and dry, so it is essential to make the audience laugh whatever the joke is, but it should not be too much.i concur with you @hamzayousaf well most time one needs a write up like yours to effective public speaking and also one should be ready to answer some funny questions knowing that all questions are very important nor how stupid it is.
