I've had long hair for most of my life, but for the past 2-3 years my hair got thinner and my forehead grew more and more. Today I decided to finally accept the fact that I'm slowly getting bald. I tried Rogaine and Viviscal shampoo, but now I wish I didn't waste the money. Sad day, but I think it's not that bad, it feels better than I thought :)

I realized how bad it got looking at pictures from my holiday last week.
And today I bought a shaving machine and went for it. First day of my bald life.
You actually look cool bald!

That is my fear I too have long hair and do not want to loose it as I have been using headphones for may years

STOPDude, how's it feel being bald? I too inherited some of my families balding genes but I like it. I jokingly say that I have to cut my three hairs when I get a haircut lol. I'm going to have an old man style haircut earlier than normal if I don't shave it all off. Hair around the sides and bald on top. It's cool in hot weather and my hat fits better, and a lot of chicks dig it! Easy to maintain and you don't have to worry about getting your hair pulled. So embrace it and stare with pitty at the guys who still have hair.
Feels good, everyone kept telling me i'm balding... there was no point holding onto it. Better to embrace it.

It never ceases to amaze me how rude some people are! No one wants or needs to be told they're losing their hair, gaining weight, looking tired, etc. How does the new look feel? It was a brave move!
Thanks, I agree, people should worry more about themselves haha, but in some cases you need to be shown a mirror by someone else to realize truths about yourself :)
It feels awesome, a strange feeling of coolness in the air, especially when I bought my groceries today and went in the chilled section.
Probably good you did it in the summer. By winter you'll be more used to it.
