People that don't work smart can't seem to fathom the fact that PASSION is what's necessary to make things work. That, putting in the work, giving, and being willing to do more.

This is very much true. I've witnessed people put in the work due to being hurt and they end up even more hurt when accomplish their goal. The one they were trying to get attention from paid them no mind after all and/or were like "oh, that's nice".
