What I've been up to during the holiday

For the week off from school and exams, I've mostly been revising and playing videogames (I have...No social life. Like, literally none...)

What games?

This beauty, RTS game where you have your own lil' fleet of ships, and what do you do with them? FIGHT MORE SHIPS!!! Beautiful, the graphics aren't bad either, apparently though, there's a second one out so I'm quite tempted to get that in the future!

Let's get infamous with Payday 2, released in 2013 and still being updated this game is the prime solution for all thieves, hook them up with this and they'll never commit a crime again! This four-team heisting game features many different contracts (missions that you can select to do) and a wide variety of armaments from russian doll grenades to miniguns, one drawback of this game I found however, is the large amount of DLC that hinders the gameplay (A lot of guns are behind certain DLCs)

Mill-sim to the extreme, birthing the term 'getting Arma'd' -When you are in a game and you fall a very small distance, but still break your legs or even die - this game has Deathmatches, King of the hill, several campaigns, many guns to use and test, bullet drop, squad management, a wide variety of servers even implement roleplay elements (e.g. You are a citizen in the wide map of Altis, you can become a cop or become a rebel -someone who mugs etc, GTA style basically) this game has brought me many hours of enjoyment (1341...Hours...) This however has much more expensive DLCs, with one of them being the cost of an entire game itself (I'd advise if you are to get the game, wait for a sale, the DLCs are overly expensive but drop massively during Sales on Steam etc.)

MMORPGs, I love them, ArcheAge is a vast and very nice MMO I've recently gotten into, although the graphics aren't amazing or absurd, the system for crafting and levelling are, you pick a starting class however can completely change everything, with a variety of different archetypes with their own skilltrees you could start as a fighter and end as a mage, it's simply beautiful, I've put almost 200 hours in the game and only hit at highest level 32.

And that's about it, other than revising for the next two weeks this has been my downtime, I hope everyone else has had a nice week off and I also hope that everyone does good in their exams! :D
