What started out as a 3 Men group turned out to be one of the biggest groups i have ever been a part of. And here’s how it began.
Bonjour everyone, hope you all are doing well.
A couple of years ago I had got the bike I had always dreamt of, Hero Honda Karizma R. That at the time was one of the best looking bikes available in the Indian market (my opinion). As I am a motoring enthusiast, I started hanging out with like-minded bikers and before I knew it I was in this amazing group of friends who are all about fun n games. The time spent with all of them, going on biking trips and even the usual hangouts with our bikes was just awesome.
Two among my friends at the time were Sanjay Kamath ( @sanjayjkamath ) and Akshay Murdeshwar. One fine day we three met up and decided to start up a biking group and hence we came up with RevLimiterZ. Initially it was just me, Akshay and Sanjay in the group. We set out to achieve together in the automotive world using what little knowledge we had picked up till that point and to grow with it. And then many of our close friends became an integral part of the group including Meghan Naik ( @firepower ), Srinidhi Srinivas ( @srinidhi check out his intro on steemit ), Rajat Rao and Sudeep Shenoy ( @rjsudeep ) and it was no longer a team of 3. It was a brotherhood of many.
Our inspiration to form a group was us being fan boys of Power to the Rider videos (currently named PowerDrift). The videos they put up on YouTube were so inspiring that even we wanted to follow in their footstep.
As we grew stronger we wanted to spread awareness among all the riders out there that there is more to riding than just showing off with fancy bikes and fancy skills, that's Safety. We had seen many who got injured on two wheelers and even worse in some cases just because they hadn't worn their safety gear. This also comes from my own experience as i'm here today only because i was wearing my safety gear during a major crash that i had met with 5-years ago. Life is not to be taken lightly, we always move forward with an uncertainty of the next minute, especially on two wheels. So it's always good to be prepared, Bike-wise and Life-wise. ;)
We continued our journey as a group promoting safety and also riding
for a cause promoting and supporting various social causes like a
campaign to pledge to donate our eyes and road safety awareness. We
also supported various organizations that take care of underprivileged

Sachin S. Shetty a.k.a. ShutterBox, is one of the most amazing photographer and a cinematographer that I personally have come across. He is a man of many talents. He has recently accomplished an all India solo tour from Mangalore - Leh Ladak – Kanyakumari - Mangalore, 11000kms in 38 day. That’s got to be one crazy achievement. The kind of achievement that some of us just dream about.

Next up
We met the Kotian brothers a little over a year ago and we all bonded instantly over bikes. All we spoke during our initial meet ups were just about bikes as at the time they were planning on picking one for each. And they did end up picking 2 beautiful rides for themselves as you can see in the pictures.

Now we come to the most Dynamic person in our brand new crew.
The youngest biker in the group, one of the nicest and the most genuine guys we have come across, always ready to take upon the next challenge, biking wise. He is more on the shy side, that’s why he never takes off his helmet for pictures.
So this was a brief about our group. We as a team hope to achieve a lot more now that the team is getting stronger by the years.
This is my biking brother hood, this is my family.

A well written article there. I still remember our initial planning days, feels like it was just yesterday where in we were sitting and planning about this. I am happy I was able to meet many people out of which few turned out to be best friends.
