On September 11, 2001 America was attacked by Muslim terrorists. They attacked our commercial icons, our defense icons (The Pentagon), and our nation's capital (which attempt was thwarted by brave civilians). They attacked us using our freedom and desire to trust and share our freedom with others. That was their weapon.
There are enemies to freedom. The religion of Islam is not compatible with the Constitution. Secular Communism isn't either. Freedom is a gift given to us by our Creator. It is an inalienable right no government or institution has a right to take away. The first amendment explicitly defends that right legally. The second amendment allows us to defend that right literally. We must be vigilant, and wise.
Indeed freedom is a gift from God that should not be taken lightly. May everyone be safe the September 11th and always. Thanks for sharing
