Now, When I say the 'SIGNIFINANCE' I really mean what essential role Jk Rowling (author of series) has on other authors in her field of work. And the story that would inspire many more young artists to persue writing commences at 26th of June 1997.
However, before the release of the book Jk Rowling had just divorced her husband and was left with her baby. She had very little money and mostly stayed inside looing after her child- But, she also had a passion for writing so she carried on writing the series until it was finished!
But another problem rose, what publisher was going to accept her book? J.K. Rowling wrote a synopsis of the first “Harry Potter” book to send to publishers, and it was flatly rejected. She tried again and again with no luck, some publishing company's saying that childrens books don't make enough money or others just plainly rejecting her book because 'the cover doesn't look interesting'. Jk Rowling had had enough of numerous rejections from publishing company's so she turned to the last and final publisher called ' Bloomsbury' . The company rejected for one reason only, and that was because her initials on the book were ' Joane Rowling' They thought it wouldn't interest boys to read it as it was a womans name so she took her grandmothers initials which ended with a 'k' so she changed it to ' Jk Rowling'.
The publishers were happy with the new rebranding so they finally published the book under the name 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone' in England and later published in America by the name ' Harry Potter and the Sorcerors stone'.
Many more books followed the first aswell as 'Harry Potter and the cursed child' and ' Fantastic Beasts and where to find them' All fantastic books and I strongly recomend reading them.
In a way, Jk Rowlings backstory with her abusive husband, poverty and various rejections really put a fresh perspective on what life is really about... Never giving in, Always strive for success in the face of difficulty and finding joy in the darkest of places. Pick yourself up and try again because you never know when someone will give you a chance...
