40$ for a new screen? Chinesium?
I once tried to do a Samsung S9 front screen glass replacement. Ended up killing the display, lol.
Thought about buying a screen replacement for my old S10 from China, but gave up as it's impossible to verify the quality of the screens. Ended up just buying a newer S22.
Good luck with the replacement.

I'm assuming it's chinese.. But it's a province over so will ship in < a week compared to spending $18 to get one from china in... 3 months?
Never tried a screen replacement before so kind of excited.
The phone itself was like maybe $150 or something? Honestly think the main board is fine.. But the screen well... lmao
I always hope I can someday get my data off the phones I brick. I have a carton of bricks that used to be phones. Hoarding is either my superpower or my Achilles' heel.
