Don't let people discourage you from close contact with your son. Most fathers would throw the baby in a crib and hope they stay quiet. I think some people may confuse the issue from a few years ago of some infant carriers that caused babies deaths, it doesn't appear that your carrier buries your baby's face down inside the carrier. Carry on, it's great for babies to be nurtured in close contact and the music is soothing and inspirational-ly educating for him.
