It's a wet and cold Sunday over here in the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria. The rain have been pouring non-stop for over 20hrs. With temperatures down and the streets flooded, the only place to be is on my couch where i can't help but reflect on these life lessons and advises by Pat Divilly in Life lessons and advises by an 80 year old man.
- We should never give up on anyone in life cos miracles happen everyday
- Look people in the eye. Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference.
- Loosen up. Relax. Whistle. Sing in the shower, cos except for rare life and death situations, nothing is as important as it seems at first.
- Be a good loser
- Be a good winner
- Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them
- Always remember no one makes it alone. Have a grateful heart and be quick to acknowledge those that helped you.
Reflect on these and take charge of the rest of your day.
