Good evening Steemit! (Am I the only one who heard that in a Dracula-esque accent in my head?)
My constant companion (Degerative Disc Disease) has had me down for the better part of this week so I have been spending my time on Netflix looking for things to binge watch while trying to ignore the pain. I've found a couple of interesting anime series, which I'll post a little more about tomorrow, and some hits and misses in the B movie dept. that Netflix seems to love as much as I do.
Now, as I said, I am a B movie kind of gal. I grew up on a steady diet of bad fantasy and sci-fi movies and TV shows. And I mean BAD. From classics like Krull to rare stinkers (I mean gems) like Ator and cough Druids, I've probably seen it all.
However, the movie I wasted 1 hour and 32 minutes of my life on tonight was definitely a top 20 stinker. The movie is titled Nightworld and it stars Robert Englund and Jason London. Both of which are B movie kings. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

This movie is very obviously a loose remake/retelling of the creepy classic The Sentinel. If you haven't seen the movie or read the book, I highly suggest it, especially if you like your horror with a side of Kuberick style psychologically warped none sense. I really did want to like this movie. I tried so hard for London and Englunds' sake to like this waste of film. But I just can't do it. Even for them. I have to give it 0.5 out of 5 stars and that is only for that small part of me that still crushes on Jason London as Jason in The Argonauts (circa 2000).
