We recently went to the zoo and spent our time reminiscing how much Leyna has grown.... it had been a while since we had went, not since Leyna was around 2. We love to watch out little girl grow in a beautiful young lady, but it is bitter sweet. Oh how we miss holding her as a baby, her little hands grabbing our fingers, her coos and first smiles, bathing her in her little tub, swaddling her in blankets, even changing her diapers..... Now we get to share bigger moments- watching her on stage performing a tap routine, cheering her on as she's tumbling on mats and trampolines, singing our favorite songs on the radio, exploring through creek beds and catching frogs, teaching her how to read and write. I am sure all parents go through these emotions and we just thank God every day that we are able to do this with our children.
