Is it perfect? No. Is it better than any outlet/community I've participated in thus far? Yes.

My favorite part of Steemit is the community, by a long shot. The rewards are great and all, but it is horribly difficult to have a conversation about music over the internet without being spammed or not taken seriously anywhere else. Everyone has an agenda or a catch. Not so much here though. Lots of people are just here to listen and absorb. And naturally it feels easier to control success when you're actually being heard.

But just like anything else, I think the best way to function as a musician is to hit as many outlets as possible. I still do participate in the 'old' music industry where appropriate, and a few other crypto platforms (like Choon) seem well-made and promising. Mainly because all of these things are non-exclusive, so there's really no reason not to.

In short, I would say it's great for music. I've recommended it to many.

yes, with dsound for payout and the daily post mode. Which is unique to steemit. I bet if more people involved it can be more ... but every crypto platform takes it's niche and not sure what it's going to end up with

@tea-man
Just chill-out and keep on pushing your music/mixes here on steemit, it will payback in the end. Also all these articles will be on "search-engines" foeevaevaa... And soon the crypto summer sales will be over...

Sincerely

Do not count on it

About right robot

At the moment , content is very difficult to keep around, but i'd say if you post on DTUBE and back it up to our bot in one love, yes.

It is, especially DSound, but we definitely need to see the end of this bear market so artists can get more for value for their posts... ;)
I am confident the fall will be bringing on the bulls...

of course it is , this is the best stage of my music journey so far with the people i have met and the community aspect alone i would say its great. yeah it's nice to be rewarded for posts but its more the community of like minded people that is most appealing to me

I would say that Steemit is building and work in progress with alot of pesting bots and follow me's, for instance i can post on SoundCloud and get nearly 70 repost in one day from genuine people but on here i get maybe one or no support and maybe some waste of space comment about follow me!

I see lots of effort by artists on Steemit for no or little reward to be honest!
