Gratitude Blog # 7 (Soul Family)

"I don't think that anything happens by coincidence... No one is here by accident... Everyone who crosses our path has a message for us. Otherwise they would have taken another path, or left earlier or later. The fact that these people are here means that they are here for some reason"...

James Redfield, "The Celestine Prophecy"

         ✶⊶⊷⊶⊷❍⊶⊷⊶⊷✶

This quote resonates with me so deeply. My thoughts are wandering around this message today after losing another family member within a few weeks and another in the hospital dealing with a serious illness. The passing was expected this time so I am not mentioning it for condolence sake, although I appreciate the sentiment. I bring it up because I am reflecting on the people who have passed in and out of my life and their impact on me.

I'm not a fan of religion because I believe it does more harm than good. That being said, I am however a very spiritual person. I think our energies or souls are somehow bound together and it's up to us to search for the messages and significance of how and why certain people come into our lives but it's important not to spend so much time delving into the past that you're not present in the here and now.

The thought for today is to be mindful of the connection you feel with certain people and even places that you have experienced. There's most likely a lesson there for you.

As always, thanks for reading. I love getting feedback from my random musings so feel free to comment. Peace!man-1207687_1280.png Pixabay

yes sir and enjoy this short life with those special people in your life and be thankful for them. howdy this fine Sunday night sir witty-waiter! hope you're doing well!

I'm doing good. Having a relaxing day. Hope you're doing well. I noticed on someone's post that you were nominated to compete in the Comedy Open Mic Contest. You should try it out. @rentmoney was joking about nominating me in his entry tomorrow so I beat him to it and made my own entry and nominated him

haha! you beat him to it and nominated him, that in itself is funny, I wonder what he thought about that? lol I'm sure he got a big laugh out of it. What's your work week look like?

I haven't gotten a response yet but if it's anything like our earlier conversation it'll be in the crapper again.
I'm only working Tuesday through Friday this week. I took Saturday off to go see a show an old friend from Key West is performing

oh yeah witty-waiter and you are going to take some time off and go down to Key West aren't you?

I will hopefully soon. I was just looking for entries in the COM contest and I found the entry by @ecoinstant running a fundraiser for a new chair for you. It's hilarious. Is the Mrs. angry you posted your painful chair online? LoL

haha! that's the funniest, best written thing I 've seen for awhile. no she was not thrilled but wasn't angry either. haha. yeah I didn't know that my self esteem was in tatters and that I had lost my honor but those things, the way he put them were hilarious.

we were competing but also chatting all week long so I knew he was close to beating me so it wasn't too surprising, he paid a big price! I'm used to going with little sleep, he isn't. lol

I have nominated your series in the Pay It Forward Contest.

Cool. I nominated you in a contest to win SBI yesterday

Thanks ... I just hunted down the nomination and thank you there as well :)

Sorry you had to hunt it down. LoL. I need to revisit your post about hiding URL's. In my defense, I'm doing all my posting from a phone and I find it easier to copy and paste the link

Nice post, kryptonia id is @jamescrusader

everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves -Carl Jung-

Thank you for sharing your mindfulness with us, hope that this time it is nothing about the new moon 😉

The new moon definitely had people agitated. I only wanted to tell a couple people off though. I think I subconsciously block it out until the day of and then a light bulb goes on when I start to wonder why people are being so intense. I've had other things distracting me so it was okay

Now you got me thinking.. are you sure you're not werewolf😂

I don't think so. I only have a regular amount of hair and I haven't howled at the moon in years. I may try it next full moon though. Thanks for the idea 😁

I am so sorry for your lost and to hear that another member of your family is in the hospital hope she or he get better soon, I liked your reflexion post.

@Kryptonia nice information really very unique collection @sumitsaurav5000

That quote is an awesome one by James Redfield.
It really a very thoughtful one.

Nice to seeing a concept as gratitude being covered on Steemit, reminds me I should be doing some more gratitude meditation myself. If anything, this gratitude mindset is proven to have huge benefits in life.

Thanks

People come and go. So while they are with you pay respect and always be grateful. Upvoted by rubelynmacion

We dont know when we will leave in this world so while we are still in here we should be grateful always.

Well, everything happens for a reason, that's why we should always keep our mind conscious so we understand everything clearly.

I am sorry for your loss. But you are so positive not to dwell on that so I am sure you will get over it and move on soon.

it's important not to spend so much time delving into the past that you're not present in the here and now.

Indeed. Cherish the here and now because here and now will never happen again. And we will never know when those people or things we have here and now will be gone.

I came across your post through @rentmoney who featured it here: Pay It Forward Curation Contest.

Keep blogging!

Thank you for the kind words

You're welcome.
