A review with no spoilers about "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri", directed by Martin McDonagh, and starring Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell and Peter Dinklage.

(Frances McDormand in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri).

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" is a British-American film of 2017 written, produced and directed by Martin McDonagh.  The film has won numerous awards, like the Golden Globe Awards,  BAFTA awards, and also  received seven nominations at the 90th Academy Awards.

Honestly, I liked a lot, It was a great movie. From my opinion, It's a bizarre film, in the good sense, with situations so absurd that they can even make you laugh or even leave you breathless.

It could remind you of the best works of the Coen brothers, but is characterized by showing situations that most of the time happen in reality, from a dysfunctional family that ends up falling apart as a result of a loss, to a police department that feels powerless in a case that leads nowhere.

The film intelligently shows the defects that all levels of society can have, demonstrating that what we know as "the truth" is not exclusive to one side, that each situation has different perspectives which creates subjective opinions, and the fact that demonstrating "being right" leads us to do crazy things that can harm the people we care about.

A drama with touches of black comedy, leaves you situations for reflection and gives rise to self-criticism; It may not be a movie for everyone, but I highly recommend it for its dark-devastating story and  the strong message it brings. I give it a 9 of 10 possible points (9/10).

The end of the film is pure gold, in my opinion.

Thanks for reading, until the next post.
