A favourite stop for me, visiting the lighthouse!
There are many lighthouses all over the island of Newfoundland, not all towns have them, but some have heavily relied on them for many years to guide them safely ashore.
The treacherous rocks below can easily be missed when it’s dark, and many places here are fishing communities, largely reliant on ocean resources to keep the local economy going.

Cool looking light house! We use to go to Hilton Head island where they also had a lighthouse.
I just looked it up, what a beautiful place! That lighthouse is definitely way bigger than the one I was at! LoL
