That is a colorless scenario that could become a reality and a very dangerous one too.
As far as we know there are around 400,000 plant species in this little planet as in today, but we can not be sure how many species existed since they appear on this world, there is evidence of the first land plants that goes back 450 fucking million years, that is crazy.
Apart of being beautiful, plants and their flowers play a critical role in the environmental balance, without them we are going to have a very very difficult time around here.
One in every five plant species is in the extinction path, it is amazing how bad we are when it comes to recognize what are we doing to our world and for that matter, to ourselves.
Plants have provided us with food, medicine, clothes, building materials, inspiration, biofuels and i would dare to say the most important freaking thing: OXYGEN!
So, what can we do? Simple, be conscious of it, be respectful and try to grow some plants, in your house, the closest park or wherever you can, plants are our best friends not dogs.
