It is kinda sad that people will do stuff just to take some gains from others. I have a quote that I had been holding on for years and that is Always believe in the goodness of a person's heart I don't know who shared it to me but this has been my go to quote each time that I am faced with predicament with other people, if I have doubts etc.
I've long been told that I have a "good heart" as if that's something unusual and rare.
On the other hand, I am mostly told that I don't have one. Logic comes first to me back then thus the quote above surfaced. I always keep my guard up and till now ZI guess I still have some small parts of me. Either kill or be killed concept which I find it morbid nowadays for myself.
You know what? Empaths such as I can have too much of a good heart at times. I'm constantly telling them to make space to care for themselves, as empaths tend to be selfless to a fault, so I do have more of a balance to both sides in my life.
