Good morning fellow Steemians!
After taking the day off yesterday...I woke up feeling much better...although I think work may have been a better place to nurse my headache. I didn’t take into account how excited the boys would be to have Mommy home during the day! Everyone spent the day at home yesterday. It was cold and windy, but the hubby still managed to clean out the garage in anticipation of “the great Spring clean” of 2018...and the yard sale we are in desperate need of!
Of course the boys wanted to play outside since Daddy was out there...so guess where we all ended up?
I have thin southern blood...Apparently the kids didn’t get that from me! They wanted to ride bikes, play with sidewalk chalk, and run around like it was a nice Spring day ( it was in the 40s and windy!) We spent a good while out there...teeth chattering fun! Lol. At least the kids got to spend a little time outside, as opposed to a day in front of the TV! It’s been a nasty week...as far as weather goes.
We ended the day with a delicious meal of bourbon, bacon burgers! (The kids had chicken and green beans...picky eaters!) I was also thrilled by the fact that our outdoor escapades seemed to tire the kids out enough that bedtime wasn’t an issue. My hubby and I actually got to snuggle on the couch and watch some tv together!
When I went to leave the house this morning, I got a special little message from my sweet, yet somewhat cheeesy husband...
Sometimes the little things mean so much...that put a smile on my face for sure!
The kids get their artistic abilities from their Dad...lol...as you can see!
