I recall being shocked once at a $1500 expense for a vibrator listed amongst deductions for a forming company, being unaware of the need to vibrate concrete and thinking the business owner was both both very dedicated to his personal life, and brash for trying to deduct the cost of personal items as a business expense. Of course, there are entertainment costs to doing business, but I didn't want to think of him that way.
