May i add, when someone prefer some music on other it's mostly the
environment that effects them. I see it all the time. if it's your family or friends or the media, people find themselves like the music their
environment let them.
I think since when i was young i had a lot of classical music around me, it affects me eventually to write for orchestra. Also it make me like and write progressive rock cause i find it's very close to classical music.
What do you think about the effect of the environment?

well, I was a very angry boy due to my family being sort of troubled. I listened to Metallica's Ride the Lighting and I could not stop from there.
the environment does play a huge role! it makes me wonder how may it affect someone's hidden love for a music genre he's never heard before...
