Why I Think LinkedIn Is A Great Platform For Professional Growth

Good evening once more from Romania, fellow HIVE users, LinkedIn professional worldwide as well as dear readers outside of HIVE! For today's seventh special post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to write a bit on why I think LinkedIn is a great platform for professional growth and even academic development.

First of all, please allow me to mention the fact that I've been using this platform for several years to date and I've had a predominantly good experience with it, managing as such to connect with many professionals in the meantime there and highlight my academic and professional achievements as well as my work experience.

Secondly, to get to the main point of this point, I strongly think LinkedIn is a great platform for professional growth because it allows its users the advantages of connecting with many of their peers worldwide, explore and learn more relevant skills for their career, showcase their overall work experience, and also highlight their academic achievements obtained online through various MOOCs on such e-learning platforms as Coursera.

By building a strong LinkedIn profile, you get the chance to be noticed by future collaborators and forge powerful economic relations over the years with them. You also have the opportunity to create good friendships and social bonds as well as to get hired for your dream job, if you are fortunate enough. Hopefully that dream job of yours won't turn into a nightmare and the description of the job meets reality and decent standards as well.

Last but not least, LinkedIn allows its users create their own communities through starting up (or joining) groups where like-minded people can discuss, share, and collaborate in order to evolve personally and professionally and I truly think that is absolutely great indeed! One more reason to sign up on LinkedIn!
