Good day to all my fellow steemians,
I love Tony Robbins. I think the man is a genius. He's more than the usual motivational guru, he's more like a force of nature who never stops. He has helped countless men, women and children move past their limitations and build a new life for themselves.
If you don't know who he is, I would highly suggest that you google him or go to youtube and watch some of his videos. His way of explaining and helping is very straightforward and easy to follow. None of the mumbo jumbo you hear these days. He has coached high profile sportsmen, politicians, businessmen and helped them achieve their highest potential.
I decided to put together 3 teachings of Tony Robbins that I feel would benefit anyone.
Positive thinking won't help you succeed.
You can think positively about any situation but it won't help you get anywhere. You have to face reality and treat the situation as it is. Take action towards *improving the situation, step by step and then moving forward. Just by thinking positive things, nothing will happen.
Gratitute overcomes fear
Being grateful about the things you already have creates an atmosphere of appreciation. Lets face it, it could always be worse. When you're grateful for the things you have, you don't have time to think of what you don't. In that moment, your brain is trying to rewire itself into focusing on being thankful and grateful for all the things that make you smile.
Consistent Action = Results
Sitting and having a woo-is-me attitude won't help you reach your goals. It won't help you buy that car you've always wanted. Tony has always said that if you take steps towards your goal, even if they are the smallest steps, you are closer than you've ever been. Sitting and hoping for better things will not magically bring it to you. Action plans with a specific direction and work my friends, work.
