Yesterday I only joked about the name of Szolnok Eye, but this is its actual/real name. And the "Golden Wheel".

Today (and in the rest of the weekdays) it will open in the afternoon, so today morning I could take a few photos about the empty Ferris wheel.

I am still thinking about trying it. Probably I will try it in the upcoming days. The cabins looks safe.
You should try it! Ferris wheels always seem much faster and higher than they appear to go when you're actually in them. That blue sky looks amazing.
Seeing it closely, it looks even comfortable. I will probably give it a try to experience it at least once in my life. The weather, compared to winter, was nice today with around 3 °C in the morning, and around 6 °C in the afternoon. So it looked and also felt nice. A few people joked that "spring is coming".

That reminds me of the Karoo. The only payoff there is that while it is minus degrees in winter, then in summer it is 45 degrees plus in the summer! 😅
This may sound funny, but sometimes we have snow even in spring, so 6 °C in the spring is actually not so unusual in my country (in Hungary), and the maximum temperature in the summer is around 40 °C.
That's extreme! 😱😱😱
Yeah we have some extreme temperatures in the desert/semi-desert areas, but where I live it is a moderate temperature that has been described as being mediteranean.
Fantastic blue sky day, I wonder if you can get good photos from the top of the wheel or would the protective glass restrict the quality. We have one in Brisbane too $20 AUD for a ride.
This Ferris wheel is available until the end of 2021 December. The cabin have glass windows, so probably it would be difficult/challenging to take good photos from the top of the wheel.
