You will probably never see this place, unless...

If you're not from Bulgaria you will probably never see the places I'm about to show you.

Even if you were born here chances are you still won't see these places. This is the exact reason I want to share them with all of you. I believe that we should be expanding our views in all ways possible, and looking around new places is one of the best things to do that.

This is why I am going to share some places you probably wouldn't have seen if it wasn't for the Internet, Steem and a lot of different factors, that brought us exactly here and enabled us to share our views and materials with each other. Sharing stories and wisdom is what this is all about. Maybe...

The following photos are taken with Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, with no filter, crop or other editing. You can view them in full quality by following the link.

Now it's time to take a walk around the hood with me.

As you can see our street artists are not having any difficulties to give me a laugh. I hope you have all seen Scrat, the mischievous squirrel from the "Ice Age" series who was the doom bringer for the whole world... and universe... 4 times in a row.

I wish I could say he was responsible for some of the next pictures, but sadly he isn't. It's people's responsibility things are this way.

Anyway, I love the detail and i'm really glad that there are such wonderful artists, who add some color to the city.

I believe a sunset is beautiful to look at, no matter where you are. I recommend watching at least one sunset a day for one minute for good mental health. It helps you to chill out, relax and remind yourself that a new tomorrow aways you, after you go to bed tonight.

Simple enough?

This is an old rusty bridge, over the railway and it's pretty sturdy, despite looking like something that has suffered a nuclear war.

20180311_160600

The railway that leads to the mountains. I wish i had a better camera to take this shot. If you upvote and resteem I will be one step closer to a new DSLR. :D

20180311_160613

I've actually crossed this bridge my whole life to go visit my uncle. It's fascinating when i think about all those other people that have used it to visit the people that are close to them in one way or another. When i think about it now i remember crossing that bridge with a racing heart to see a girl I love.

There was a famous bridge architect in Bulgaria known far and wide who once said:

"People should stop building high fences to separate from each other and start building bridges, to connect them. " - Kolyo Ficheto

What you see here is a torn down railway depot, but the absurd thing is that i think some part of it is still active in that condition.

20180311_160805

Some teen couples come from time to time to watch the sunset. I wonder how many people have done this through all these years. So many stories happened the way they did because of one rusty bridge.

When I said rusty...

Do you like street art?

This shamanic style graffiti is made with paint that glows under black light and it looks amazing in the dark. Somebody broke/stole the black lights and no one has repaired them...

A beautiful work of art, which implemented an inspirational quote that basically says to work hard in everything you do and expand your knowledge and spirit throughout the world, like there is no tomorrow, because it doesn't matter how long you heart beats, what matters is what your heart beats for.

Can you imagine this was just a normal gray wall?

20180311_173424

A portrait of old Sofia, the way the city looked not so long before i was born.

These three ones I find epic.

A new normal looking building, but if you look at the reflection...

20180311_173806

...you will see that it's probably the only new normal looking building in this place.

There is an amazing view at Vitosha mountain, but sadly I don't have a DSLR so it looks smaller than in real life. If you zoom in x2 you should get a decent picture of what the real view is.

20180311_174822

Don't you love sunsets?

20180311_175446

This is 15 meters of pavement, that is surrounded with 3 asphalt streets, but again nobody wants it fixed. Who needs it fixed when it's a free kidney stone therapy when you go to work with the car.

20180311_184449

Building is still loading... after 20 years.

20180311_190334

I've shown you some torn down places, street art and normal parts from the hood. I hope you saw something interesting, help me with upvotes and resteems and next time i will show you more PLACES YOU WOULDN'T HAVE SEEN OTHERWISE.

I promise they will be nicer. Maybe...

Good night people, until next time!

I do see most of the places for the first time thanks to this photo story. 👍 for sharing it

Amazing! You don't need a good camera, to be good photographer and you are definitely good at this. I know how difficult it is to find places, which are worth taking photos of and trying to make a description or even a story for each one of them. Good job! I can't wait to see more of your photos :)

Aww thanks, this really motivated me. I hope my next photos will be from Vitosha mountain - this is the mountain beneath which our capital city of Sofia is built.

Чудни чудни снимки!

Nothing like the walls of an old train station to have as a graffiti board! :)
Thanks for sharing! Amazing artists you have there in Hungary I should say ... impressive!

I guess there are some pretty amazing artists in Hungary, but all of my photos are from Sofia, Bulgaria :D

Oh! My bad :P I do not why I was thinking in Hungary XD hahahaha Sorry ... btw, I am a fan of Bogomil Rainov since I was a kid :) ... and I know I am not mistaken now ;)

Thank you, I need to check him out, because I haven't read anything he wrote.

Oh! So you do not know your bulgarian James Bond??? XD Name Emil Boev, secret agent of the bulgarian intelligency. Man you will love it, at least if you like the spy stories. He is even famous in english speaking countries. In Cuba is very famous, this I know for sure because I am from there ;)

This was one of the books that came with me from Cuba :)

Thanks for the advice. How can i do that?

By simply following the link and reading more about it ? :) Не бъди индиец.
