Tip for sleeping like a baby. Stop using electronic devices before bed.

Stop using electronic devices at least one hour before you go to bed. Seriously, try this for a week and you will see a great improvement in your sleep quality if, like many of us are, you are using your smartphone or laptop right until you go to sleep.

Using electronic devices before bed delays your body’s internal clock and suppresses the release of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin. This makes it much more difficult to fall asleep.

This is due to the artificial blue light that’s emitted by the devices. The more you use them,the harder you fall asleep.

I know it's hard. We need to check our Steemit posts, we need to check facebook and we need to see if the cryptos are up or down but just try it for a while and see the beauty of having a healthy sleep.

I'm not saying that this is the only cause for bad sleep, of course it isn't but it is one that can be fixed pretty easily with a bit of determination.

The solution? When you know you will need to go to bed in one hour turn off your electronics and :

-meditate
-go for a run
-read a book

I like this piece of advice, but I must admit, I am so tired when I go to bed, that I normally fall asleep within minutes anyway... but, it is still a very good advice!!

Well, I don't think it matters only that you fall asleep fast. The quality of sleep is also important.
