People are tired of being treated like babies, as if they can't handle their own safety. The people of Michigan, mostly conservatives, are tired of it and have taken to the streets to engage in civil disobedience to express their disapproval of the lockdown measures imposed from the fear-hype panic of the coronavirus.

The mainstream media will probably spin this as something bad, and blame Trump, since a lot of the protesters are Trump supporters. Don't believe the media masters of spin. More people are aware of the falsities in the media about the coronavirus risk, and are tired of being controlled by the state.
This is freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and civil disobedience that disrupts society in order to protest their loss of freedom and make the government listen. People want their freedom of movement back. People want to get back to work. The state is preventing people from working.

Welcome ;), it's important for things like this to happen and send a message to not only politicians, but other people as well who are on the fence or the other side and agree with politicians.
Its not surprising that those who typically follow orders, do just that. Even if they disagree. Tyranny is real amd people need to wake up.

I think it might be, simply because the current economic cycle (that was always doomed to fail), is now at that breaking/failure point.

This is fantastic - Colorado is still fast asleep but I hope that more and more people in more and more states wake the FUCK up!!! And it's true - most people have been too busy to research - maybe this "lockdown" is giving people time to use that critical thinking -
IF — for a moment — we assume this is all a "government plot to control people," the longer they keep people cooped up, the more that plan will backfire.
Not because a bunch of people go out and protest like this, but because billions of people are forced to sit with their own thoughts and that might just trigger a sort of "Renaissance of Critical Thinking," a large part of which will no doubt be centered around the idea that we don't really NEED many of the words and products purveyed by the politicians and corporatists.
Yup, good point. Free time to think, the horror! LOL. Normally people are too busy to actually think. Some critical thinking may slip into some consciousnesses as a result of the imposed lockdown ;)

...people are now truly waking up to the global psi-op, methinks.
I did my 'panicking about covid' a long time ago (being near the epicenter).
Then I soon got over it, of course.
People have to go through 'the fear' stage, to beging thinking critically again - which is starting to happen now..
What will happen when enough people protest?
I dunno....(if this is 'the push' to globalism - one world currency via crypto ect. - we are in for some very turbulent times)
