Greetings

I've decided to condense the last two festival sections (Laksmi and Saraswati) into two post instead of a total of nine. It takes less time this way and the information is right there in two posts. Enjoy and thank you for reading.

Laksmi is wealth, beauty, and love. During the next three nights ask for your material needs to be met in the most fulfilling ways, give thanks for what is already present and prepare to leave a true legacy of prosperity for those who come after. Prosperity can be anything from a successful pregnancy, to great health, a new job or career or even the time and space for your own wellbeing.

One day four Durga/Laksmi is joined by Kushmanda the Creatrix who brings light—a very prominent aspect of Durga is bringing light from darkness, the beginning of visible creation. She will protect Her creation. When creation is based on love, all things flourish. Her gifts are self confidence, creativity, strong Shakti power and charisma. Durga is a warrioress of love. Lakmi IS love in expression. Laksmi is the channel for unending abundance of all good things in life. Creation wants us to flourish and will keep giving as much as we can receive. The thing is what She may give may be taken for granted or unacknowledged until it is taken away by circumstances and fate. Abundance always multiplies in the most appropriate as it is appreciated.

Tonight we move into the experience of being loved (if one is open to the experience). Kushmanda encourages us to at least start to believe in the power of love to heal. A good time to practice love mantras and charity. Giving from a compassionate place can heal those hurts. You can move into greater loving expression is her message this festival. Service not Servitude is the beginning of prosperity.

Day five is a period to honor Laksmi and Skandmata As the story goes Skandmata is the mother of Skanda or Lord Kartikeya, who was chosen by the Divine as commander in chief in the war against demons. Its important to know what you are fighting for and to nurture those things. She gives insight into to best way to go about it. Also she gives right leadership direction through consultation with inner wisdom and following the guidance; she is a warrioress and offers protection of virtuous actions and direction; She gives you the strength to stand in your power.

Image of Katyayani by Roovalijuan

On this final day of the Laksmi portion of the Navratri festival day six Katyayani makes her appearance with Laksmi which creates a very beneficial alchemy in our lives. She was born as an avatar of Durga to a devotee who wanted a daughter in the form of a goddess. After many years of devoted spiritual practice Katyayani was born. Her gifts are intellectual strength, wisdom and strategic planning, creative vision, clear minded, peaceful mind in the midst of confusing people and/or circumstances and protection for family members. From commitment, the blessings do appear; sometimes in the form expected and sometimes not.

May loving blessing pour in, through, and around your life and those you love...

You know India is thinking about creating their own cryptocurrency and they want to call it Laksmi.

That makes sense! Not knowing much about crypto currency I can't speak on the specifics but I bet it would do well. Laksmi is very loved. I feel love needs to be a part of our financial exchanges; this would automatically raise the vibration of what humans consider wealth...

first time heard of this festival

Oh yes, the Navratri festival is one of the most popular in India and around the world. Has been around for a very long time. It usually corresponds to the first new moon of the spring and fall equinox. The fall equinox seems to be more popular...
