Tummy Time to Build The Muscles

To help build the muscles throughout the baby boys body, we do a “playtime” called tummy time. Where I gently place my boy on his belly and monitor his motion.

He should over time build the muscles in his neck to support his head and muscles in his body to propel him through space.

This time, we did tummy time on my belly, to share the warmth.

James is a strong baby boy and pushes his way all the way up to and past my head if I’d let him do so.

He’s only 10 days old today and already picking up his head for a few seconds at a time. And he can almost roll over.. uh oh.

Oh.. and he has been a bit fussy this morning and last evening.. feeding often and staying awake longer. We suspect he is going through the first “growth spurt” the midwife warned us of..

So many more life achievements on the way for this little man. I am grateful to be blessed enough to witness them.

I am so proud of this little bugger already. I love him so much, with my @kelsnm.

I pray to Heavenly Father. I hope he doesn’t grow up too fast, James Denver.
