These 2 weeks have been all about catching up with my promises. When I promise to get something done, it’ll be done (tough it make take weeks or months). As such, I do not like to make promises to anyone and everyone (myself included).
Apart from work, I have already finished a few projects, which I promised to do:
When @yasminep announced that she will be moving back to England, she decided to bring TeamMalaysia members together to promote Malaysia to the rest of Steemit community. I was assigned to work on Top Tourist Destinations in Penang and my wonderful partner is @tifaong. It took us only a few short days to get it completed.
@khimgoh spoke to @littlenewthings about white paper of TeamMalaysia and they decided that it has to be done, that is something that has been in my mind for a while and I took up this opportunity to contribute to said project. Strictly speaking, most of the 5 pages are more of teammalysia profile & guidelines than traditional white papers you expect from a company seeking funding.
After 3 months of delay, I finally wrote my piece on minimalism and my life as a minimalist. Part 2 will come in the near future.
here & hereI was tagged by @zord189 & @khimgoh to participate in the Love It, Shove It Challenge by @snowpea. You can read about the initiatives
5 THINGS I LOVE & ADORE:
As a minimalist, I do not own much but these are the material items that means the world to me:
-MacBook Pro 15” Retina Display (been used since Dec 2012)
-iPhone 5s (using it since Jan 2014)
-Hermes H Clic bracelet
-My huge Canadian flag (slightly bigger than an average towel) hanging in my bedroom
-My passport
-My Honda Cityhe stole my dream girlhere.Beautiful/Appealing/Gorgeous/Captivating/Good looking (err… need help from @maverickfoo to suggest more adjectives to describe beautiful girls) girls. Beauty is in the eye of beholder and every girl is beautiful in her own way. But to those whom I find attractive are simply irresistible to me. I can forget to breathe just thinking about them. Hopefully I won’t die before finishing this post. Speaking of dying, earlier today, I told @zord189 that I am going to commit suicide because and you know what he said? He asked me to transfer him my Etherium coins before I commit suicide. For that reason, @zord189 is not one of the 5 things I love (JUST KIDDING). You can read my previous post about some girls I love
Photography. For those of you who do not know me personally, just go over all my Steemit posts and you’ll know what I mean.
Canada. My birth country is by no mean perfect, a utopia or heaven. But it is truly the one of the best country in the world. Don’t take my words for it, just go Google and search for “best country live in”, “Global Peace Index”, “United Nations Human Development Index”, “Countries with best quality of life” and all other ranking/indexes that equates to happiness, peacefulness and quality of life. You will find Canada ranks top in most of these lists. Naturally, you will ask me why I choose to live in Malaysia. My answer is simple: I much prefer food and nightlife here in Asia!!! I feel more at home living in Asia, but my heart will always belong to Canada.
Poop. Yup, you heard it right. Some live to eat, I live to poop. There is simply no better satisfaction than going to the washroom to do my business. It is far better than sleeping, winning the lottery, hugging a puppy, swimming in crystal clear ocean, go on a date with a pretty girl, ……….
5 THINGS I HATE & DETEST:
Inefficiencies – Can’t tell you how much I do not like wasting time over something trivial. A malfunction ATM, faulty traffic light, unstable internet connection, traditional business transactions as opposed to digital, the list goes on. In other words, patience is not my virtual and I love countries like Hong Kong and Singapore where everything is efficient.
Negative mindset – There are always individuals who look for the tiny black spot on a huge piece of paper. They draw every single ounce of positive energy off everyone and every scenario. And we usually feel so down and tired after encountering these individuals.
Dirty/unhygienic places – Honestly speaking, there are too many places in Malaysia where I don’t feel comfortable going to, let alone dine in those areas/neighborhood. This is not something I’ll ever get used to. I try my best to avoid these places every way I can.
Traffic jam & difficultly to locate decent parking spots – It drives me crazy to hear someone who says he spends 30% of their waking hours traveling to and from work. I organize my working and social life around rush hour traffic. And it drives me crazy when I know I have to spend 1 hour to get to somewhere when it can be done within 20 minutes without the traffic jam.
Getting sick or feeling unwell – Physical and mental health is most important to me. Without it, I wont be able to enjoy my toys, appreciate beautiful girls, take photos, be proud of Canada or even have a comfortable toilet break. I do not fear death, but my phobia is to be a living person who is bed ridden or dependent.
Whattttt?! You are canadian...lol. Oh well, at least you mentioned Malaysia in the same paragraph as Canada.. it means same level of love if not just a little lesser. Thanks for sharing @orangila now we know you a little better.
