I don't know what to call this makeup lol

I have quite colorful eyeshadow palette and this time I was feeling like making a look that focuses on purple. I didn't have anything specific in mind, just the color palette and let my instincts dictate as I do the makeup. A lot of times this technique (without much planning) scares me a bit since it can turn out 'bad' or something I don't like and I waste time but this one I like how it turned out. :D

The first eyeshadow palette that I used is this Flower Knows one. I used the pink as a base I guess. Then the purple one on the outer lids.

This is the only palette that has a light blue in it so that's what I used. I was initially worried it might not suit it cos this is a very cool toned blue and the look I was going for was on the warmer side. It turned out okay though.

Then using this light pink from the same palette for the inner corners of my eyes.

5.jpg

Then I went back to the light blue and added some on the center of the lids. This turned out to be a useless part since I added a glitter on top that I don't think showed what's underneath haha. Which is why I think planning what to do makes the process smoother, only because I am filming it.

I used this maroonish for the outer corners to deepen it.

Time for the glitters/shimmers. Colors are so boring without shimmers imo unless it's a smokey brown or gray color.

I went back to the Flower Knows palette and used the pink shimmers. It made the look a lot better tbh, having both cool and warm tones together. Although I was still not feeling it.. I think something was missing in the entire look.

Until I decided to add a green shimmer from this Kaleidos palette and oh my it turned the whole look into a completely new vibe entirely. It made it so much more interesting.

I really wanted to use this purple lipstick from Kaleidos but having it alone looks boring. I blended a Girlcult black lipstick with it and a Kaleidos lip gloss on top so it made the whole look strong but also cute.

Lastly, I added Kaleidos highlighter on my nose and high part of the cheeks.

And here's the final look. :D

The lip color is strong in itself and kinda overpowers the makeup on the rest of my face since there is less contrast on them but adding those 3 fake eyelash on each eye balanced them all out. It also gives a sort of 'weird' look which just matches everything and I like it. :D

There's a noticeable difference with the pictures (these) and the ones above (they're screenshots from a video) and these are challenges I need to figure out for the next time. I need to figure out the proper white balance that accurately shows my skin tone and I was just using the old settings when I started and didn't think of changing them despite me changing the light setup haha. Just having the temperature set to cool on the editing looks weird so it's still boils down to the camera settings while filming.

It's obviously Holo makeup!

Not that holo yet 🤣

Ohh, this looks like a fairy make up, but the lips color is darker. Now you just need a butterfly wings with a glittery dress to complete the whole look. ✨✨

Yeah the lips say villain but the eyes are deceiving 🤣

Hmmm bouncing off your idea maybe Pixies since they're playfully mischievous Beings. Fits the Yin/Yang Fairy vibe 😄

Right, right, those cuties fairies. It fits right. Hehe

True haha I also thought of that but it is better for someone else to say it to validate lol.

This looks nice, maleficent theme!

So cool it wasn't inspired by it but reminded you of that. I guess it really give off supernatural vibe lol
