I just read a tale about a little boy and his father having a conversation. The son entered while the father was looking at a map. When he asked his father why he was studying the map, his father said that he wanted to take them somewhere they had never been. We're heading someplace we've never gone before, he declared.
We all know that moving from one place to another is not an easy process, so he has a purpose for making the trip. He wants to travel in order to find out if he would be able to get employed.
The child took a moment to reflect on what his dad had told him. The next thing he said startled his father. Father, my birthday is quickly approaching, and I want to ask you for a gift, he remarked. I wouldn't want to ask for too much, but there is one thing you can give me, he said.
Father's are wonderful when it comes to promising their children. The father didn't say he will give him whatever he want, but said he will give him whatever he can give him. He encouraged him to make his request.
The lad responded and said he needed 'A map'
The father was perplexed by the word and he questioned further, "why do you need a map?"
The wise kid's response was remarkable, he realized that he is getting older. He said, he need a map because growing older is a journey he has never embarked on before.
That's quite an outstanding thinking. It is a crucial thing to have in mind that life is a new journey at every point of new decision making.
At every new points, turning points and decision making points in our lives. We need a map.
I present to you reading a significant exposition to tell you that a 'Bible' is a life map for human, if well studied. It teaches us to live right.
Why should we consider Bible as reliable?
It has been written for a long time but yet its wisdom that span a lot of years is something that is yet significant today. Its messages are as meaningful and as fresh as forever.
People who studies it in the past discovered the right reason for their existence and living. The book have proven record of life changing testimonies. There are a lot who accepted as the word of God to human.
In seeking for a life map, you should consider the Bible, it assures us the words from our creator. It helps to life a modest life and it's principles are life polishing.
The Psalmist also said in the scripture Psalm 119 verse 105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Those words are live changing and are directives unto righteousness.
The book of proverb also confirms, it says "For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:"
We need the word of God to live right in this world. To live above darkness. A lot of people don't like to read or hear it.
For people who believe in those words written in the Bible, It is not excellent to believe in something and not know about it. We should explore and improve our knowledge about the word. We should meditate on them.
