Denise we have so much in common! I love that you can relate to the running and the sewing. And, no, you definitely aren't dumb. They probably would NOT ship live chickens. Friends were coming through and picked them up which saved us driving through to collect. My brother shipped us a batch of eggs to hatch but the couriers take so long in the country that we end up with a batch of mostly not viable eggs so the incubator hatches very few.
As far as those little feet. The children love playing in the boxes that arrive (if they are big enough) and that inspired my idea for the post. I thought you would also find it fun
I have never met a child that didn't love boxes. There was a lot of moving for the job, so the movers always left some boxes behind and between the cat and the kids, the boxes were always full.

My cats also love the boxes! And with five there's inevitably at least one in a box - much to my children's disgust
