FINALLY - the moment you have all been waiting for! Drum roll please...
After officially purchasing the domain name for our project website, it gives me great pleasure to announce that our Decentralized EHR project will be named - MedBlock.
The website for MedBlock - A Decentralized EHR system is medblock.com.
Even though you will probably see a "Under Construction" sign if you go there now, we have finally secured our project site and I can now launch a competition to find the best and most creative logo for MedBlock right here on Steemit!
There are 1200 BeyondBit tokens up for grabs, which is worth over $800! If you are interested in putting your design skills to the test, please follow the instructions carefully:
Step 1: Make sure you have a BitShares account
- If you don't already have a BitShares account, go to the BitShares site and create an account - Wallet model or Account model.
- Include your BitShares username with your logo entry. If you are selected as one of the winners, I will send a prize of BeyondBit tokens directly to your BitShares account.
Step 2: Create your Logo
- Theme: When designing your logo for MedBlock, think of the best way of visualizing an electronic health record (EHR) system on the blockchain. You can also picture MedBlock as Medicine on the Blockchain. Impress me with your imagination!
- Logo type and format: Vector based logo, 300 dpi, in either .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or .psd (Adobe Photoshop) format
Step 3: Submit Your Logo
- Create a new post entitled "MedBlock Logo Contest Entry" and include your logo (adhering to the above logo requirements) as well as your BitShares account name. Please send your .ai or .psd logo file to [email protected].
- Use the following tags when creating your post so that I can find your entry:
medblockmedblocklogoartconteststeemgigs - Drop a link to your logo entry in the comments below.
For those of you who haven’t used BeyondBit tokens before, each BeyondBit token gives you a 1% upvote from the @fuzzyvest whale account. 100 BeyondBit tokens will give you a 100% upvote from @fuzzyvest, which is currently equal to $70 (at 100% voting power) and an automatic spot on the Hot and Trending pages, giving your post even more earnings and exposure!

I created two versions. A red and a green one, however these colors could be replaced by any if desired.

Just thought I'd throw my entry in for consideration, although I think that @eirik absolutely killed it on this contest! This is my entry for the MedBlock decentralized EHR logo contest. My logo incorporates several EHR medical symbols, such as the ambulance, radiology, pulmonology, cardiology, lab, etc. along with the central "MB" letters with a digital version of a caduceus between the M and the B. The various sequences of hexes represents the blockchain, with each piece connected to the next.

This is amazing Ace. I was waiting for this. There's a lot going on lately. I will make sure to submit a logo you can be proud of. Hey Dev! I've been extremely busy ever since we started this project so I haven't been as active on Steemit lately. These days I've just been working exclusively on projects from work as well as on this new blockchain project so gone are the days when I used to write on Steemit every single day - at least until we can complete a prototype by November!

I'm also busy with things. There's this upcoming local startup here, I volunteered to submit a logo for their app as well. It sounds good and it's usable and block-chain based too. We're also having local projects, so busy here and busy there. I'm even head of marketing and design! Haha. It sounds funny, like we're playing games, but somehow their serious about this. So I'm upping up my game - serious face on too.
We have an upcoming mett this 5th, wish us luck. We're preparing everything as well. Got the designs up and stuff. I've printed some Aqua Minnow shirts, they actually liked it and persuaded me in supplying some. Also, opened the campaign again in Tee Spring for that (forgot that it closes in 4 days originally), new campaign should last 21 days with auto-renewal too.

I'm going with the wifey to Colombia in a few weeks and when I come back, I'll be working day and night in order to complete our prototype for a presentation this November. So I probably won't be able to visit the Philippines this year but I can definitely try to visit early next year!
