I do agree that drill music doesn't much talent and the content is mostly violent which does further perpetuate many issues in parts of the UK.

There also is the undeniable gang affiliations attached to the music, which is why I completely understand people not licking the music and shunning the people involved, however when people start saying that the music makes people commit crimes I have an issue because if you can blame music for you actions and that can remove some of the accountability then people will start to blame anything and everything for what they do wrong and think they are not accountable for their actions.

Agreed, it's like when certain politicians tried to blame certain computer games for perpetuating violence. Ultimately these people are just trying to win votes, so it makes it doubly annoying because they probably don't really believe their own hype!
