It will get scary. You lived another day. Do you think your memories will stay forever with you?

Reading time: 2min, 15sec

If your life is anything like mine, your days not only fly past like a blur, but they consist of so much stress that your memory cannot handle all the information it's receiving.

You are reading this blog and some of your thoughts try to break out, solving another issue, checking a task, reflecting the day. There are so many distractions around you that beep, sing, talk, and flash that a simple task like reading, may start a fight within you.

Of course, it doesn't end here. Your brain creates ideas all the time, some you will forget a minute after you received them and others will add up to the ideas you already did have approved in the past. Because you value those ideas you want to try them out all at once. Clearly, this isn't gonna happen!

This could be just a usual day for you and its impact isn't that serious for your life quality. The compound effect is what makes matters more severe. Imagine your brain having to go through all this mess for 50years. The outcome surely wouldn't benefit your overall health and well being psychical.

But if there was a way to slow down your ideas and catch your memories, why wouldn't you use it?

Let me tell you this, there is a way. The best way to slow down your ideas and having your memories close is to write them down. From personal experience, I can tell, that writing has a positive influence on my well being.

This slow down process gives you the freedom to think, manage better your thoughts and actions, increases your focus at areas that demand the most priority.

A journal would be the perfect solution in this case. It would be good for your memories and ideas. I'm sure you know it and I do too. Still, I had 5 failed attempts to keep a journal. It ended ugly. I had a Word journal, a hardbound journal, a softcover journal, a private blog and a "social" network journal. Finding a simple Apple pie receipt from my Grandpa was impossible. Or to say it with other words. It was possible, but the energy needed to go through all journals without having ever established a coherent organization was just too cumbersome.

What's different about Mynlo? Mynlo just wants to be there, close to you, personal and private. It's a platform without any special functions, thousand's of extras or extensively sophisticated tools. You will not get paid to write in it either. But it will allow you to collect your memories at your own pace, organize them intuitive and most of all enable them over time to connect with your other memories and ideas to something meaningful.

One of my favorite movies of all time was The Mask with Jim Carrey and his best friend was a dog named Mylo (My love). The dog without being imposing or anything special was just cute, smart and always loved to be near the movie character played by Carrey.

It's a fact that memories and ideas can get lost, preserving all of them would be a futile enterprise. The best of your memories should have a chance to live with you, be that in written form, stored online as a photo or printed out on anything tangible. The place we call earth would become better because you would have a better understanding of yourself. We at Mynlo think this is a noble aim and I'm happy to be part of it.

Definitely, we would feel awesome, if you would choose us. But our competitors are fine people too. Get a journal and write your first sentence. Right now. Yes I mean now.
