It was an memorable evening for me and my friends visiting to one of the oldest cafe in mumbai ( Leopold Cafe ) since 1871 located at colaba causeway.
The cafe itselfhowever does not seem to live up its reputation . Its small entrance is almost completely immersed tourist infrastructure.interior struture is just a normal like other cafe with small stalls and shop selling trinkets, artificial jewllery, smart phone covers and many more things . what i like most about the place is its matter of factness. Despite its is in bussines since 1871. Many foreigners and bussinesman visit because of it calmness and to have some cheaps, food and chill beer.
Due to the popularity and the visit of tourist from different countries to have good evening .That was the reson for the Terrorist Attack was happened in the year 2008 . More than 10 peoples died during that attack and many get injured . we can see some bullet holes still be seen in the walls, between old beer advertisement and pilp fiction posters . I want to salute the staff of Leopold cafe after such a biggest terrorist attack Cafe re-opened in four days after the attack .what a memory for this cafe had .If u visit to colaba (mumbai) u should visit that place .
