Before 1994 there was no TV in our house. We used to go to another's house to watch TV. That house was a little away from our house. There was a problem watching TV programs at night. That's why night programs were often missed.
Movies were shown once a week On holiday. We did not want to miss the movie in any way. If we miss, we have to wait another 7 days for watching movie. Sometimes it was missed due to power failure or unscheduled program.
In 1994, my father bought a TV in our house. It was 17 inches Black & White National Television.
