MGTOW - MGTOW101, D.tube & economic cycles

in #mgtow6 years ago

An awesome thing happened today. Both MGTOW101 and Kris Cantu landed on D.tube and are now enjoying an enviornment that is nearly censorship proof. Both of them had their channels flagged into oblivion on you tube. With all that flagging and demonitizing and whatnot, I'm hugely grateful that Steemit and D.tube are available to us now.

Here's a link to their steemit pages. When you post on D.tube it's automatically linked in steemit as well.

I am very glad they found there way over.

I noticed you have 43 STEEM just sitting there.

This is a comment for all the new guys.

There are two currencies on this platform.

  • STEEM - the currency of steem, that can be traded, or used to power your votes
  • SBD - it was tied to the dollar, but right now is worth more. So, it is basically worth $2 on the open market, but can never fall past $1.

SP - Steem power, is powered up steem. This is STEEM that is locked up in the voting process. Your vote amount is based off of this number. And, to spend it, you have to power down, which takes a while.

The important levels of SP is

  • 100 At this level you start getting curration rewards easily. Curration rewards on payout when they are over 0.001 SP. And, until 100, you have to get lucky AND no what your doing to get curration.
  • 490 At this level you have reached 1 megaVest. (as in invested) At this level you get the ability to have a slider to adjust your voting percentage. Instead of being stuck voting at 100% (which means voting 10 times a day)

Currently STEEM is about $2. And the crypto world is about to take off for another run. Buying STEEM right now will probably net you 500% with a couple months as it shoots to $10 each over the summer.

So, back to vention1, on your wallet page, you click the arrow behind the amount of STEEM you have, and then click on POWER UP. Then tell it how much STEEM you want to turn into SP.

If you POWER UP all you have sitting there (doing nothing, but being liquid) then you will probably be giving about 2¢ per vote. Which is the minimum payout for a comment. If its $0.01, no payout.

Why do you say steem will be "$10 each over the summer"?
Everyone I know who has an account doesn't use it any more, the person that helped me start an account powered their account down which is what I'm in the process of doing.

Because of the trends and the trends.

Steem is gaining more users than it is losing.
And Bitcoin is about to make its next move up.
And when bitcoin moves, everything else moves.

Also, The US$ is going to be hyperinflating. Right now it is inflating asset prices, such as the stock market, and as soon as bitcoin takes off, tons of money will flood into cryptos. "Investor" money chases prices.

So, at minimum, i see STEEM being $10 each.

Now, i do not believe that STEEM will hold its value, because it is an inflationary currency.
However, compared to The US$, it will be seen to be going up.

And, i could be completely wrong. The banksters could win, and destroy all cryptos accept theirs, and everything will crash to zero. But, if this happens, you may as well try to leave the planet.

If you vote and write often, an investment in STEEM will pay for itself.
Also, you can think of it as a continual hatreon for all the mgtow that are coming to steem.
I can give 2¢ to every mgtow post and it doesn't cost me anything. That is almost the same as a $1 per month. And when STEEM goes up, it will be way more.

Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to determine what I want to do with the steem. I'm tempted to power up and stake a claim for my new homestead here on steem.

I still have some liquid STEEM... that i haven't decided what i will do with yet.
But, i am also over the minimum amounts that i need to play the game.
