Relationships are part and parcel of humans existence, be it friendship or love relationship. Just as the proverb goes "No man is an Island". You have got to be connected to someone or a group of people in other to enjoy the flow of life in terms of friendship and, to make your life sweet & complete, a love relationship that leads to marriage is needed. Friendship and love relationship are both inevitable as long as you are a human being, yet disappointment & heartbrokenness are bound to be experienced respectively in the course of building up relationships.
In this blog post, I will focus on how to cope with a heartbrokenness in a love relationship and moving on thereafter.
We are all humans, we are made in different and unique ways, the heart of an individual is not the same either. The Heart is the most sensitive & delicate part of our bodies that need great protection, not from physical harm or hurts from objects like harmer or stone but from hurtful words and actions else the heart could be crushed into pieces. A Broken heart may never regain its originality again in life because hearts are like eggs, it is simply impossible to remold broken eggs back to its original state unless God who created the heart in the first place steps-in to renew such a heart. That is why special cares must be given to the hearts of others when we enter into relationships with them.
The purpose of a love relationship is to make life sweet, better and memorable to live but unfortunately many have experienced pain & sorrow in the course of love relationship instead. Brokenheartedness due to disappointment in love relationship had even led many to commit suicide whenever the pain seemed unbearable.
The great agony of pain for losing someone we loved rest heavily on our hearts. In the beginning, it will hurt straight to the heart just like when a sword is pierced through your heart. It is the kind of hurt that will leave you crying till you fall asleep at 3.am with puffy eyes, nose blocked and some slight headache. The kind of hurt that follows you everywhere-reminding you of the memories you once shared at particular places you pass by. A mind-boggling hurt that makes your jaws drop each time you remember the strong promises you made never to separate from one another forever. The hurt that leaves you thinking if you ever meant anything to him or her at all seeing the partner, someone you once loved but now in love with someone else. That is what makes the pain aggravating and excruciating .
It is not saying goodbye that makes losing someone in love relationship hard to bear rather learning to live without them and learning to know that you won't be seen him or her around you anymore is the hardest part of losing someone we loved. Initially, we may be overwhelmed with pain & agony that our sense of reasoning is blocked by the severity of hurt our hearts could hold but over a period of time the hurt will reduce.
There are Two things we need to learn and put into consideration whenever it comes to loving someone. The first is Moderating the level of your expectation from someone we are in love with, and secondly, do not love too much. Because should the love relationship workouts not as you have hoped, the gravity of the pain you will suffer will be measured by the density of your expectation based on the extensive love you lavished on your partner.
One thing we have to understand in life is that everything that happens to us have a purpose it serve in our lives. At first, we may not see the reason why we experienced such unfavorable situation like break up in our relationship but over a period of time, the reasons will become more glaring to us. Even sometimes we can see the reason for a break-up but refuse to accept the truth but when you allow time to plays its role in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in life, like being dumped for someone else or rejected by someone who means a lot to you.
Another important point we should bear in mind whenever we face such fate of heartbroken in a love relationship due to break up is to remember that not everyone we meet will stay in our lives forever. Sometimes, they are passing character in a chapter of your book in life, remember that everybody's life is like a book with different pages and chapters. So their purpose of coming into your life is to teach you a certain lesson, to open the eyes of your understanding to some area you need to experience and eventually make you a better person tomorrow.
Lastly, do not hold grudges against whoever had deeply hurt you in the couse of building up a love relationship in life . Just I have said earlier , everything we experience in life has a purpose and reason why we have to go through it , so place not the blame on your exes,it is not thier fault, they just happened to be the instrument of change you need to experience in life . Next thing you need to exercise is FORGIVENESS since you too hv to move on in life. Forgivenss will help you to be at peace with your past and reforbish your future with happiness. Do not try to start another chapter of love relationship with pain and bitterness in your heart, it will affect your new establishment of love greatly if you do. Remember the saying " to err is human, to forgive divine ". So let bygone be bygone , open a new chapter of love in your life with peace and joy in your heart . Love is a thing of the heart, learn from past mistakes and apply whatever you have learned to make your new love relationship works well. So always use your heart when it comes to the matter of falling in love with someone.
Remember this saying , too much of anything is too bad for you . Let everything you do be done moderately and don't forget that nothing last forever.
