Time Out.... Take a Break

in #mindset5 years ago

Hi People,
It feels good to be back on this cyberspace, refreshed and re energized.
I have been away from all the stress of today's digital Life and the entire digital world for three days. I needed a break from my daily lifestyle.

Lately, I have become tired of the things I am doing, not getting enough motivation for good creative ideas and was slowly loosing interest in the stuffs that mattered to me. It was like my world was becoming boring. At this point, I knew I needed a break. I needed to chill out somewhere I could be away from my phones,, laptops, tabs and every other electronic device that had me hooked to the digital world.

And so, I just decided there and then to take a retreat to a secluded camp outside of town where I would be close to nature without any distractions. I wanted to be alone with my thoughts and my God.
I have so many questions racing through my mind and I needed to hear from my Maker on some issues bothering me. it's almost half of the year gone, and I have not met certain goals I set out to accomplish within this time frame.
Thank goodness the camp was also a prayer meeting place to seek the face of God. I really needed a private one on one talk with "the big man upstairs".

Needless to say, I poured out my heart to God the first and second day at the retreat, and I know HE definitely listened to me, because every time I asked questions, He would send one the Minister's at the retreat to preach a message that spoke directly to me. I was also blessed to listen to some motivational speakers who addressed some of my fears and showed me a lot of new ways to beat my worries and forge ahead.

Now, I feel refreshed, renewed, excited and motivated more than ever to succeed in life, be happy and have divine heavenly bliss in and around me.
I am really glad I took this time out to "chill out".
My mind, my spirit, soul and body is rebooted, super charged and ready to accomplish great things.
I want to ask you guys this question, how do you know that you need to take a break??? And how do you do this??? What do you do to relax, unwind and really let go??? Kindly share your thoughts.
Cheers
