After last night it seems the police and National Guard don't plan on fucking around. Highways are shut down, the police are moving and taking action early. Curfew is expected to be enforced.

I think that when you send 40 million people into unemployment you have enough pissed off people and this incident was the catalyst! Officially, people were ordered to stay on their property, but in Minneapolis police roamed residential streets where no rioting was occurring and fired on residents who were on their front porch.
Great idea to post on these links in one place! This is so clearly outside agitators that are instigating most of the violence. Most residents are starting to realize that now, I hope. It was great yesterday to see the community coming together to help one another. We were at the food drives at El Burrito and on University Ave. On the way home we saw the protestors marching down Highway 94. Stay safe my friend, hopefully the worst of the rioting and looting is over. I have a feeling the extremist groups will move on to another city soon.
Some residents, or at least in-state residents, seem to think that protesting after dark is effective. It might still be somewhat effective, but they're allowing shitheads to break windows and burn shit. Hopefully that's mostly done with, but those places in North Minneapolis still burned just last night.
The National Guard presence on this side of the river was unbelievable last night. There were trucks and squadrons at every corner between Dale and Hamline Ave on Grand Avenue. The protest was peaceful for the most part though.
I heard and saw on some live streams and videos that the situation out of control and getting worst, trump tweet recently that if they didn't stop he will use the power to stop 'em, what do you think can anger put put the fire or it would be the gasoline and make this mess bigger?
