Un cálido saludo para toda la comunidad HIVE, mi nombre es Julio César Robles Reyes y estoy muy contento por formar parte de esta gran familia. Agradezco especialmente a dos personas que han ayudado en mi formación y adquisición del conocimiento básico y con quienes comienzo a dar los primeros pasos dentro de este maravilloso mundo, ellos son Anaray *(nanixxx) *y Muhammad Halim (muhammadhalim) fotógrafos ambos a quienes tuve el placer de conocer en un safari fotográfico organizado por La Finquita del Arte, que se realizó en Playa Baracoa, comunidad costera perteneciente al municipio artemiseño de Bauta en Cuba.
Este evento aglutinó a un grupo de fotógrafos pertenecientes al Club de avistadores de aves del cual formo parte y otros fotógrafos que disfrutan la vida en la naturaleza.
Hicimos una gran amistad y desde allí creció esta idea de formar parte y compartir en esta gran comunidad que es Hive. Más adelante hablaré un poco más de esa aventura y todo lo que de ella ha surgido, pero ahora continuaré con mi presentación.
Trabajo en la televisión cubana como director de programas en el Canal Nacional Tele Rebelde. Me apasiona la edición y la fotografía que desde hace algunos años ya practicaba, cuando aún era muy común la fotografía analógica, pero luego hubo una pausa extensa en este tema porque me dediqué a profundizar más en el tema de la edición de televisión y trabajar como camarógrafo luego vinieron otros cursos de superación y así de tanto en tanto llegué a la dirección de programas de televisión. Sería muy larga la lista de programas y eventos nacionales e internacionales en los que he participado (aclaro que los internacionales solo han sido desde aquí, desde Cuba).

A warm greeting to the entire HIVE community, my name is Julio César Robles Reyes and I am very happy to be part of this great family. I especially thank two people who have helped in my training and acquisition of basic knowledge and with whom I begin to take the first steps within this wonderful world, they are Anaray (nanixxx) and Muhammad Halim (muhammadhalim)both photographers whom I had the pleasure of meeting on a photographic safari organized by La Finquita del Arte, which took place in Playa Baracoa, a coastal community belonging to the Artemiseño municipality of Bauta in Cuba.
This event brought together a group of photographers belonging to the Birdwatchers Club of which I am a part and other photographers who enjoy life in the wild
We made a great friendship and from there grew this idea of being part of and sharing in this great community that is Hive. Later I will talk a little more about that adventure and everything that has come from it, but now I will continue with my presentation.As I had already said, my name is Julius Caesar, in Hive I am known as reycesar350 JCRR, a combination of my middle name and my middle name, for those who imagined otherwise, jjjj.
I work in Cuban television as a program director at the National Channel Tele Rebelde. I am passionate about editing and photography that I already practiced for some years, when analog photography was still very common, but then there was an extensive pause in this subject because I dedicated myself to delving more deeply into the subject of television editing and working as a cameraman then cameraman then came other courses of improvement and so from time to time I came to the direction of television programs. The list of national and international programs and events in which I have participated would be very long (I clarify that the international ones have only been from here, from Cuba)
For about three or four years I have decided to resume photography, because in 2016 I bought a camera that I intended to use but I did not decide because I did not find inspiration until I attended several exhibitions, workshops and photography courses in prestigious institutions such as the José Martí International Institute of Journalism and the Cabrales del Valle Academy where I acquired some tools and knowledge that stimulated me to return to this practice. When he intended to start, Covid arrived and this caused another moment of demotivation and estrangement. Long months passed until one day I took the camera out of its case again and went for a walk to take some shots, despite my dissatisfaction with the work done, what I learned theoretically and all the photographic activity that I see in the different social networks, have been filling me with enthusiasm for making this beautiful art, an excellent form of expression and communication.
Having the opportunity to be part of the HIVE family, I think I can show my work in this place where I know it will be respected and I will have the opportunity to share my opinion on the work of other photographers and enrich my spectrum in terms of this form of expressionGrowing up with this great HIVE family in some of their communities, from other tasks and practices that we usually have such as exercising, sharing knowledge and experiences on trips or adventures, talking about food and drinks among many others, will be part of a fun experience of which I hope many will be part
